Abstract
The particle Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (pEPR) is an application of EPR on magnetic nano particles (MNPs) or super paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs). Pepric offers pEPR spectrometers that are optimized for the quantification of MNPs or SPIONs for fast, precise, and accurate measurements. Its application areas range from the preclinical researches of hyperthermia cancer therapy / oncology / (stem) cell therapy / macrophage imaging / vaccine development, and etc. The pEPR method has advantages of fast, selective, quantitative, non-invasive, non-destructive, convenience of no sample preparation, potentials of easy translation to clinic, and stable longitudinal research. Validations of the method with comparisons of qPCR, IHC, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS were performed. There has been many publications and granted patents over the pEPR and pEPR spectrometers.
