The mass spectrometry based biomarker discovery and validation platform can be used for several pathologies. We focus on minimal invasive diagnostic applications for biomarker discovery so our preferred clinical samples are liquid biopsies (extracellular vesicles, urine, …). This focus gives us a unique capability and strength in terms of sample preparation as well as data analysis. Besides liquid samples, we can also use fresh and fixed tissue slides for biomarker discovery using a MALDI imaging approach. Our developments have led to discoveries in biomarkers for Kidney allograft rejection assessment Lung cancer patient segmentation and more In this context we are open to collaborations and licensing to further our discoveries into marketable products.
